INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Global Exchanges Inc., GX, offers an internship program, based on the J-1 visa, that is designed to allow current university students or recent graduates from around the world to have the chance to live and work in the U.S..

The successful applicants shall gain meaningful insights and understanding of American business practices, innovative trends, culture and society, and make valuable personal connections with industry leaders to forge lasting partnerships. This work-based training program provides invaluable work experience in the U.S., as well as academic enrichment and a life-changing cultural experience.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

International Interns and Trainees must be foreign nationals:

- 18 years old or older

- Able to demonstrate recent education or work experience related to the internship or training that they are pursuing

- Able to demonstrate sufficient funding to cover their travel and living expenses

- Have sufficient English skills to train in an English speaking environment

Interns vs. Trainees

International Interns must be foreign nationals:

- Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States; or

- Have graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to their exchange visitor program start date.

- Academic fields in these areas: Public Administration, Law, Information Media, Communications, Management, Business, Commerce, Finance, Science, Engineering, Architecture, and Mathematics.

International Trainees must be foreign nationals:

- Have a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least one year of prior related work experience in his or her occupational field outside the United States; or

- Have five years of work experience outside the United States in the occupational field in which they are seeking training.

- Academic and professional fields in these areas: Public Administration, Law, Information Media, Communications, Management, Business, Commerce, Finance, Science, Engineering, Architecture, and Mathematics.
