Our partners are the primary point of contact for exchange visitors in their home countries and are responsible for conducting required interviews, verifying English proficiency, and ensuring applicants meet all BridgeUSA program eligibility requirements.

All AWA overseas partners must agree to and comply with the following:
- Conduct and document in-person or video interviews with all applicants
- Verify English language proficiency through recognized assessments or documented interview evaluation
- Ensure all applicants are bona fide full-time students at accredited post-secondary institutions
- Provide applicants with accurate, complete BridgeUSA program information; misrepresentation of wages, job types, or conditions is strictly prohibited
- Collect and submit all required application documents to AWA
- Operate in compliance with all applicable local laws and the AWA partner agreement
AWA is responsible for vetting all foreign entities acting on its behalf. Overseas partners are subject to AWA oversight and annual documentation review, and must operate within the boundaries of their agreement with AWA and applicable DoS regulations.
